Grace Loves Lace Showroom Review
Our wedding is in 9 months! The span of a pregnancy, you guys...which isn't that long. Shoutout to my empty womb 🙌 It feels like just moments ago I still had over a year to plan, yet here I am. Time certainly does fly, which leaves me feeling anxious and worried that I'm not doing enough. But according to countless wedding planner notebooks, I'm on track. My timeline currently has me at WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING! It's already one of my favorite parts about getting to marry the love of my life. When else could you wear an overpriced gown for less than 24 hours? Unless you're J.Law at the Oscar's, of course...
Anyway, I'm milking this thing for all it's worth. So far, I've had 3 appointments. One was at Lovely Bride in Pasadena, another at Grace Loves Lace in Venice Beach, and lastly BHLDN in Beverly Hills. My advice is to go to as many appointments as you can. Why?
- Wedding dress appointments are FUN!
- You get to drink champagne and feel pretty.
- It's a good excuse to get the wonderful ladies in your life together in one room.
- You'll never get to do it again (because love is everlasting and marriage is forever, duh).
I've chosen to review Grace Loves Lace over the others, but this isn't because Blush Bridal and BHLDN weren't absolutely wonderful to me. Those options are also fabulous, and I suggest you check them out. There was just something about GLL that was pleasantly unconventional...or maybe it was the champagne and gold foiled macarons 😉 Their gowns are geared towards the modern, free-spirited woman unbound by monotony and tradition. For the woman with style, substance and passion. For a bohemian bride like myself, this brand is truly a dream come true. Lovely Bride and BHLDN had a large variety of beautiful gowns, but GLL offered the bohemian style I was looking for. I want whimsical Stevie Nicks vibes mixed with a form-fitting silhouette and a dash of sexy. Sadly, I didn't find THE DRESS, but I still want to show you some of the gorgeous gowns I tried on. Oh, and btw...it's incredibly affordable. This lovely Australian brand sells everything at wholesale. Most of these beauties cost $2k max. In wedding world, that's quite the steal. Scroll down and see for yourself!
I hope you enjoyed the magic that is Grace Loves Lace! Any suggestions as to which bridal boutiques I should head to next? The search continues...
